This program is delivered as a 1-day course. Learners with low LLN may complete additional training days prior to assessment. Additional fees apply for additional training and should be discussed with Ironbark Training to determine the most cost-effective option.

Unit Descriptor

The Gold Card Training Program has been designed for people needing to develop the skills and knowledge required to operate Telescopic Materials Handlers.

The TSH Operator Gold Card is proof of completion on one or more attachment types (modules) when operating a Telehandler. There are 4 different TSH attachment training modules.

The attachment modules include:

• F Forks
• J Crane Jib
• B Earthmoving bucket
• O Other (for any other type of attachment such a bale grabs, work platforms, sweeper

This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to conduct telescopic materials handler operations in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles.

Prerequisites

The Gold Card training program has been developed by the Telescopic Handler Association (TSHA) as a means of helping industry to comply with the WHS Act.
