This program is delivered as a 1-day course, with pre online learning (reading only) material known as the learner’s guide. Learners with low LLN may complete additional training days prior to assessment. Additional fees apply for additional training and should be discussed with Ironbark Training to determine the most cost-effective option.
Unit Descriptor
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to load and unload goods and cargo in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority regulations/permit requirements.
It includes loading and unloading goods and cargo, securing and protecting a load and completing all required documentation.
Work is performed under general supervision within a team environment.
No licencing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for this unit of competency.
However, students must be able to complete all training and assessment materials in accordance with the instructions and assessment requirements for the instrument. In particular, learners must have sufficient English language to complete the assessment without the use of an interpreter, assistant or any reference materials.
