This program is delivered as a 1-day course, with pre online learning material. Learners with low LLN may complete additional training days prior to assessment. Additional fees apply for additional training and should be discussed with Ironbark Training to determine the most cost-effective option.

Unit Descriptor

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to operate a concrete agitator.

It includes systematically and efficiently controlling all vehicle functions, monitoring traffic and road conditions, and managing vehicle condition and performance in accordance with relevant state or territory roads and traffic authority licence requirements and regulations for an agitator.

It also includes preparing a vehicle, monitoring and maintaining vehicle performance, delivering concrete to site and finalising concrete delivery.

Work is performed with limited supervision, and with duty of care responsibility for self and others in achieving the prescribed outcomes.
