Course Duration

This program is completed over a 3-day period with pre course study.

Learners are provided learning materials prior to course commencement at the time of their enrolment.  It is required that learners complete pre course material via online learning prior to attending face to face training.

If a student is identified as having low LLN using the LLN test they will be able to complete the course over a longer elapsed time allowing extra time for study between training and assessment and attendance at additional training days.

Unit Descriptor

This skillset reflects the role of an entry level labourer beginning a career working with civil construction plant.  They work predominantly under supervision and support other workers to conduct civil construction operations.

Pre-requisites and Licensing / Regulatory Information

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification.

However, students must be able to complete all training and assessment materials in accordance with the instructions and assessment requirements for that instrument. In particular, learners must have sufficient English language to complete the assessment without the use of an interpreter, assistant, or any reference materials. Unless specified in learning materials.
